Prayer for a student
Dear Father,
Thank you that you have given me this season where I can take time to study and explore the things that I love. Lord, I offer you all that I am. During this time may I become all that you desire me to be.
Father, may your Holy Spirit be my guide each day as I study. I pray that you would help me focus on my research and help me apply myself to the assignments I am given. May I be a diligent, thorough, and conscientious student. Come open my mind to new possibilities and help me make original connections with the things that I learn.
Lord, come cover me now with your gracious wings of protection. Wherever I travel may I know that you go ahead of me, preparing the path and lighting a way. Thank you that your love is all about me and your everlasting arms enfold me.
Lord, I give to you the friendships I have with my fellow students and ask for your blessing to be upon them. May each one of my friends encounter your love and goodness in their lives.
Father, thank you for your presence right now. Thank you that you are with me in every moment of each day and that you walk with me always.
